History

Partagás is one of the oldest and most renowned cigar brands in the world, originating in Cuba. The brand was established in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagás y Ravelo. Jaime Partagás was a Spaniard who emigrated to Cuba and founded his cigar factory in Havana, where he implemented innovative techniques in cigar cultivation and production. He was known for being meticulous in selecting the finest tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region, which is still considered the best tobacco-growing area in Cuba.
